Frequently asked questions
- No hot water — can you fix it on-site?
- Almost always. Most no-hot-water calls are an element, thermostat, igniter, or gas valve — all on-site repairs. We carry the common parts so many are one-visit fixes.
- My water heater works on gas but not electric (or vice versa) — why?
- Many RV water heaters run on both, with separate elements and controls for each. When only one mode fails, it's usually that mode's element, thermostat, or switch — a straightforward diagnosis.
- Is a leaking water heater tank repairable?
- A leaking fitting or drain plug is an easy fix. A tank leaking from the tank itself is not repairable and needs replacement — we'll confirm which it is before quoting.
